That is disturbing; what's even more disturbing is that Shania didn't make it big until about ten years later. Perhaps Liz should point this out.
I very much like the style of doing the strip with a regular punch line, like the real strip does. Is "hygienest" the Canadian spelling?
What are you using for your line work? The line thicknesses change at odd points, so I am guessing ink pen or gel pen.

Oops. I guess "hygienest" is my answer to Lynn's "wierd." Erg, I even wrote out a script for this, and spelled it correctly in that. ::grumble, grumble::
I've been using a brush marker for the ink work. It has a flexible tip that allows me to vary the thickness from very thin to quite thick. It's not a perfect solution and I'll tinker with my speedball nib pens when I have some more time to play.
Thanks so much for this blog. It's the only way the strip makes sense now.
I am really enjoying this! Brilliant title and a fantastic POV for a new foefic.
And the artwork is spot-on, too. Unlike Stephen King, I know who everyone is at first glance!
