That Rain Gear Must Weigh 5 KG!

One moment, Elly was on the phone with Marian telling her that Liz had just started walking that day, and the next, she's trudging around in this rain gear like it's nothing....

I'd say realizing that no one will notice how odd it she's walking so well would probably depress her all the more. She wants answers and all she's getting are questions.

Good point, dreadedcandiru2. I'm glad that's not me, I'll tell you that. ;)

Oh this is fine. You have actually provided a reason why new-run Lizzie could walk so well, with your idea of modern Lizzie implanted in her head. Your nonsensical perspective makes sense with Lynn's nonsensical writing. Congratulations.

I was hoping you'd enjoy that, howtheduck. :)

Yay -- a new FOOBAR! I wound up having a long thought about how horrible it would be to be given the chance to do it all over, knowing what you know now. I think it would be terribly psychologically damaging, wondering which choices to make to ensure that the bad times don't come again but not at the expense of the good times. It must be doubly frustrating to have physical limitations -- inability to speak, teething pains, just learning to walk, Daddy changing your diaper...

Scratch that last one. That's too disturbing even for the FOOBs. Let's just say that it's good that Liz isn't being nursed anymore. There are some things which could make even marriage to Anthony look appealing.

I agree, forworse. Whenever I think about being in that situation, I conclude that it would be awful.
