If Lynn does what I'm expecting her to do, the Friday, July 17 strip will be a reprint featuring Lawrence shoving Lizzie and Lizzie screaming that "him hit Lizzie." Then Saturday, I expect her to re-repeat the one she repeated on February 16, 2008--with Mike telling Lawrence that he (Mike) is the only one allowed to pick on his baby sister.So I'm mocking Lynn pre-emptively by recycling a FOOBAR I posted on February 6, 2009 (though, unlike Lynn, I've given mine new dialogue). If it turns out that Lynn is not going to re-repeat that strip after all, I guess it will be like those times when you have an umbrella and that makes it not rain. But even so, the "stutter" point will hold, I think. :)

That's the kicker, isn't it? It doesn't really matter that any particular strip reappears; all that matters is that Elly/Lynn can't remember what happened that well.
