Okay, so I decided that between panels one and two, Elly removes her Nizziepack, releases Nizzie, and removes her coat. I am so done drawing the pack. I was kind of baffled as to how exactly it's supposed to be constructed, and then I found that it's clearer here.
I realize that those are a couple of big, honking books in the last panel. I was initially planning to make April larger in relation to them. I'd considered erasing and resizing the books, but then I thought, "WWLD?" And the answer was clear. "No erasing! No correcting! No resizing!" Hee. :)

Oh, snap!! I can't wait to hear the idiotic rationalization she gives them next week. That and her cold-blooded lack of concern for the needs of others should be fairly interesting.

Read The Freaking Manual?
Repeat the First Message?

I've got Monday's scripted and a general idea of where I'm going with the rest. Should be fun. :)

The second option. This will be more relevant in Monday's strip. :)
I'm really looking forward to seeing this all come together, but also sad that it'll mean no more Foobar.

Thanks, Robert. I've anticipated Lynn's switch to straight reprints for some time and have looked forward to shaping the ending--but I also know I'll miss this. :)
I like the oversized books – it makes the covers readable. And besides, it sort of hints at how bad Elly's eyesight has gotten over the years (a metaphor for Lynn's heavy-handed lameness, perhaps?)

Thanks, godozo--I do get a kick out of the "big, honking book" effect. :)
