There's a bit of a meta-joke here, since using my "Yammersons" template does allow me to churn them out quickly once I've written the script. :)
One moment, the foobs were in a teal-and-lavender monstrosity of a wedding, and the next they were propelled back into the past. But it was a different version of the past. What happened?

Lemme guess; she's about to make another stupid remark that reminds us that she's learned zilch from the stereo debacle.
You know she can't resist getting in a dig. ;)
Also, I think I smell rat; she might try something stupid in order to try to avoid the awful spectre of being shrugged at by frowning people who no longer care what she thinks or does.

If I were April, I'd also be on my guard. While she may be defeated and demoralized, I don't think she's fully accepted what going back to the present means. Besides, while she may have not read all the disclaimers it's likely she had discovered something that will STICK people in the past, consequences be damned.
Elly speaking rationally to her daughter. It's not normal. It makes me suspicious too.
Magicks in MY Yammersons? It's more likely than you think.
This IS Elly we're talking about, though, so it may be just one more bit of passive-agressiveness for the road. If it's possible to work magicks through comic strip form, she may not be aware of it -- didn't read that chapter? And besides, April would be a total foob if she wasn't breathing down Elly's neck the whole time.
March: "Mom! You tried to abandon me! You left me to clean up all your messes!"
Emmy: "Nice change of pace, isn't it?"
March: *thought bubbling* "Hate!"
March: "Mom! You tried to abandon me! You left me to clean up all your messes!"
Emmy: "Well, how ELSE was I going to teach you responsiblity, picky-face?"
March: *thought bubbling* "Hate!"
Hee. So much suspicion. And LOL on "March." Poor kid, she couldn't be May, June, or Julia. ;)
Hahah, five minutes indeed! I'm suspicious...and also amused.
I have a clever theory which is mine and goes like this: Elly's attempt to screw April (and everyone else) over will backfire on her. Since she, of course, didn't read the relevant disclaimer, she'll end up sending everyone else but herself back to their proper place and time while she herself is forced to relive her life knowing that she cannot change a thing.
Also, don't be surprised if a protection/throwback cast spell has been cast by April. She tries to stick them in the past (and destroy April since she's back by magic), she herself gets stuck.
Uh-oh! Watch out, April!
...wait. This is Elly! How can she not screw up any last effort she makes? *sits and watches eagerly*
