And they're dealing with grade one as well!

One of my favorite moments in Peggy Sue Got Married happened soon after Peggy Sue found herself a teenager in the 1950s once again. Her mother asked her about what she'd argued with Charlie about. The mom thought she was referring to her teenage daughter's teenage boyfriend, but in Peggy Sue's mind, he was her ex-husband decades later. So she responded with something like "Mortgage payments." :)

I wonder how many movies Elly's subjecting everyone to her timey-wimey terror will need to be alluded to before it's all over. I also wonder if Mira knows what's going on; if she does, she might stop it cold dead.

For all we know, Mira may have been trying to do that with the first move away while Deanna is in preschool; only to be forced to move back to Milborough against her will.

As for the strip, it's fun to see little Michael and Deanna acting like an old married couple. That's a nice touch, and maybe the real reason that we never saw Michael ask Deanna why she moved back, in the strip.

Thanks, howtheduck. I figured that in a scenario where they both knew what was going on, this sort of thing was inevitable. :)

There are probably more possible movie references than movies I've actually seen. :)

As howtheduck notes, Mira may well have orchestrated the early move. However, it's possible that she didn't think through all the implications.
