Elly's begrudging concession to continuity

There's another, better way for people to not be troubled like that which quite escapes Young Flapandhonk: being satisfied with what she has. If she were to have realized how good she had it, none of this madness would have happened. On that note, I wonder how long it will take for her to realize that she isn't gone to be able to change things after Lynn goes to straight reprints.

When that happens, it'll be time for me to wrap up FOOBAR. :)

It will be sad to see FOOBAR go. It's been interesting to note just how many times, FOOBAR has been what the new-runs should have been, even though that has not been your goal.

As for Lynn Johnston, I am curious as to whether she can do straight reprints. She has shown a reluctance to completely retire before.

I'll miss it, too--but once we're in reprints, I can't see it going on for years and years without providing some resolution to the characters trying to undo the timewarp. I do have some loose plans for how to wrap all that up. :)

Not my primary goal, though sometimes it has seemed like such a necessity, it's become a secondary goal.

True. Her impulse to "improve" her old storylines seems fairly compulsive. OTOH, she seems to resent having to do any work whatsoever. That must create quite a bit of tension for her.

On the other hand, if she does straight reprints, then she could fire Kevin Strang. That's money in the bank.

That's true--and then, if he were to turn around and write a tell-all book, I would so read it!
