Ah, my. Neither man had much experience with the North American Blithering Idiot before they met Connie and it shows; too bad that they had to learn about that species from experience. They must have thought that Lucy Ricardo was a one-off or something.

They "had Lawrence"? Now I'm confused. Who is his real dad in FOOBAR?

Also, I want to let you know, I am having trouble getting through the weekend without new FOOBAR strips. I know you will want to start drawing the strip daily and just sacrifice all that pesky "extra" time with your husband and son. My entertainment is your paramount concern, I'm sure.

LOL, this is awesome! Your renderings of Pete and Paolo are really sexy, by the way! I never had that realization in the actual FBOFW strip...which is interesting, since I'm thinking of all my animated crushes and none has ever come from a newspaper comic strip...hmm.

They "had Lawrence"? Now I'm confused. Who is his real dad in FOOBAR?qnjones, at the moment, at least, Pete believes himself to be/remembers being Lawrence's dad. That's why, on Friday, I had him say "I have the strangest feeling lately... like I'm Lawrence Poirier's father after all"--and Paolo responding "Hm. Maybe that explains why am I feeling lately that I am not." Back in September, Lynn seemed to be retconning Pete away completely, since, when Elly asked Connie if she ever intended to marry again, Connie did her whole "Pablo and I were never married. I just said we were." And then, this past week, Pete was reretconned back in. And in the original run, he was heavily implied to be Lawrence's father. So--riffing on the continuity upheaval. :)

I know it's not the same, but "Crazy Guy" updates on Saturdays.

Connie's liography used the word "handsome" for both of them, so I wanted to go with that. :)
