It's sort of comforting to know that Elly is sufficiently inattentive that her enemies can play her so easily; too bad that John has to be shut down but, well, it's sort of his fault for letting this go on this long.
"Flannel birth control" made me laugh.
The only problem I have is that Elly would never wear a shirt as cool as that. I would have worn that shirt in high school! :)

Elly's inattention could cut both ways, though... She's so oblivious she could forget about being dissatisfied with her failed project.
As for John, he can always go across the street and "visit" Connie.

You're right! I filled in the shirt to amuse myself, but Elly's too boring to choose it. Maybe she bought and wore it by mistake. :)
