You could just as easily called this "Dueling Lowlives"; we have on the one hand an idiot woman who thinks every God-damned thing is a slam against her and on the other, an insensitive, self-important jerk of a man. No wonder the other characters can rely on their being cretins.

I agree with forworse. I laughed in a most non-linear way at how non-linear you were in your use of the word "non-linear".

I agree with forworse. I laughed in a most non-linear way at how non-linear you were in your use of the word "non-linear".

forworse and howtheduck, I confess I didn't even think I of this when I was coming up with John's line (spoken, not drawn)--maybe because I was imagining Elly working this comic from an encounter with John and the whole thing was too close to me at that moment. But... Happy accident. :)
