One moment, the foobs were in a teal-and-lavender monstrosity of a wedding, and the next they were propelled back into the past. But it was a different version of the past. What happened?
You could just as easily called this "Dueling Lowlives"; we have on the one hand an idiot woman who thinks every God-damned thing is a slam against her and on the other, an insensitive, self-important jerk of a man. No wonder the other characters can rely on their being cretins.
I LOL'd at a line drawing being told she was non-linear!
I agree with forworse. I laughed in a most non-linear way at how non-linear you were in your use of the word "non-linear".
forworse and howtheduck, I confess I didn't even think I of this when I was coming up with John's line (spoken, not drawn)--maybe because I was imagining Elly working this comic from an encounter with John and the whole thing was too close to me at that moment. But... Happy accident. :)

I laughed out loud at these! I love the contrast.

They certainly do deserve one another.

And this is just the kind of thing to cause Elly to unhinge that jaw of hers. ;)
There's something so Glengarry Glenross about John's panel.

Foob scripted by David Mamet is something I would love to see. Or draw. :)
