This is meant as more of a follow-up to the strip I expect to see reprinted on Saturday. In case you are not familiar with the Mrs. Beasley doll, here's what she looks like:I expect you can see the resemblance with Connie.
One moment, the foobs were in a teal-and-lavender monstrosity of a wedding, and the next they were propelled back into the past. But it was a different version of the past. What happened?

At this rate, the only thing that might end this is if Elly gets too bored with having to remember the past to keep things going. (I hope I just didn't give away the ending.)
Actually Mrs. Beasley looks pretty hott compared to Connie. At least she knows how to smile instead of looking miserable.
I once said that Elly would be furious to discover that you could buy a plush Farley or a porcelain April. I'd hate to imagine her reaction if she found out that there was a Connie doll, even if it were masquerading under the name Mrs. Beasley, before an Elly doll.
I thought Mrs. Beasley was a fictional doll that Buffy carried around on Family Affair back in the '60s. Did they make the doll because of the series, or are they just completely unrelated? (And no, I don't know why my head is full of useless junk like that.)

Nope. :)

Good point. Plus she was more pleasant and a better conversationalist. "You can try on my glasses if you like"; "Want to hear a story about when I was a little girl?"

Heh. Yes, she'd be livid. :)

I think they made the doll because of the series. Here you can see a Mrs. Beasley in her original box, complete with a picture of Buffy holding hers and "THE SAME DOLL YOU'VE SEEN ON TV'S 'A FAMILY AFFAIR.'" Curiously, I had a Mrs. Beasley doll before I ever saw the show and was surprised when I did see it and Buffy had a doll just like mine. :)
