One moment, the foobs were in a teal-and-lavender monstrosity of a wedding, and the next they were propelled back into the past. But it was a different version of the past. What happened?
I wonder what'll happen when she remembers that Connie actually went to Montreal anyway; it's going to be fun snarking on whatever she does to get Connie to make a fool of herself.
Especially since Elly wrapped up that "Phil" arc last year without the Montreal strips. It'll be interesting whether she actually sacrifices those strips in favor of new-ruins, or whether her laziness impulses kick in. Vacation calls, after all.
I don't know if you did this on purpose, but Lawrence has got the perfect Pattersaint Smug Face going on today.
I just realized you are probably seeing him as having his eyes closed. I was trying to go for the bulgy wide-eyed look. What I was intending to be his pupil, I realize, can be read as a closed eyelid. It's kind of like the famous young woman/old crone optical-illusion image, only I did it by accident!
But, yes, when I look at him as having his eyes closed, I see what you mean about the smug look. :)

Thanks, MaJI! Back in February, I did one with Lawrence and Mike as Charlie Brown and Linus. :)
I love the alliteration.

Thanks! I had you in mind both for the alliteration and for the designation of "the fish" after each name. :)
