One moment, the foobs were in a teal-and-lavender monstrosity of a wedding, and the next they were propelled back into the past. But it was a different version of the past. What happened?
Ah, but it might be a worse curse to have Mike be the worst kind of fan--the type who likes everything she does regardless of its quality. Maybe even because of its low quality. ;)
J. Peterman on "Seinfeld:" "Well, this certainly looks like a lot of words. Congratulations on a job...done."
Heh. I remember that on Seinfeld. Peterman FTW. :)
I was also thinking of an episode of 30 Rock where Liz Lemon is shown in a series of flashback clips giving Jenna non-compliments following Jenna's disastrous acting performances.
I loved John's comment. He might as well have said "well, that certainly took up more of my life than I expected."
Hee. In a undergrad class, a prof handing back papers was giving one to an annoyingly overeager student.

"You used a lot of words", he says....leave it to Elly to not realize that that isn't a compliment. That's even funnier than Mike's comment.
Yeah, I had the most fun with John's line. :)
That makes him King of Stealth Snark; too bad that Mike is drinking the Kool-Aid.

Prof. (nodding encouragingly): This was very....
Student: Oh, Thank you!
Prof: ...handed in.
::snerk:: :)
