I notice with glee the John that Connie thinks is running around on Elly is sitting in his hotel room thinking of dentistry; the closest he ever got to adultery was looking at girls. That being said, he has a right to worry about Elly; even if he doesn't know yet that he's in timeful warpland, he's aware something is amiss and she's at the center of it.

Maybe he's jealous that Elly gets alone time with Connie. >:)
I forgot about that; it would seem that while he likes looking at pretty girls, he can only have sex with cougars. He's just waiting for the right MILF to come along and polish his bearings.
Aww...John didn't get to see any of those "inventions" he told Jean he wanted to check out. I've been on tenterhooks since Monday trying to guess what kind of inventions would be on display at a dental convention. Perhaps some kind of new flossing gadget, a left-handed toothbrush or even something so crazy new-fangled that John can't bring himself to use them for years: surgical gloves, for instance.

Heh. Well, the convention isn't over yet--maybe he can still see inventions on Monday. ;)
Inventions. Maybe the "glow in the dark" dental drill. Of course, having seen John's office in recent strips, I think just having a light attached to the chair would be a major innovation.
Remember, we're talking about business. Give the guy some credit, at least he's able to focus on SOMETHING other than trains.
