One moment, the foobs were in a teal-and-lavender monstrosity of a wedding, and the next they were propelled back into the past. But it was a different version of the past. What happened?
Nice to see you worked the interview into the strip. It's also nice to see that Elly is starting to realize that her timeful warpland spell backfired; she'll never figure out that it's because her victims have free will and are changing the past, though. If she's too stoopid to figure out why childproofing is a good idea, she'll never twig to her saps figuring out that she screwed them over because she was lazy and filled with fear.

What if she decides to go back to the present on her own free will? I'm sure she'd mess it up big time, but it's possible she's learning remorse or at least an appreciation of letting the past be the past.
As a thought, I wonder if the spell wasn't to restart the past as it was a spell to KEEP things in the past. If 1979 keeps coming back, certain things would "fix themselves" (like NO APRIL, as her birth could never come).

And it seems she's convinced herself that this would be far too much work.

However, we've also seen her seeming to refuse to allow Michael and Liz to progress during the past almost nine months. On the contrary, we've actually seen her devolve them, especially since she began her reprints back in October with strips from the second year, so that we could have a premature Farley intro. So it's possible we could see the foobs stuck in 1979 despite Lynn's claims. Whichever way she goes with that will determine which way FOOBAR goes, too.
More re-reprints! Yay!!LOL--ITA. IF/when Lynn does more re-reprints, I'll have another excuse to repurpose an old FOOBAR and save myself gobs of time. ;)
Hi. Just wanted you to know I've linked to your blog in a long post about FBOFW fan art: http://www.monstersandrockets.com/2009/05/alternate-timelines-of-for-better-or.html

Here's my question:
