That's sadly true, isn't it? Mike and Liz are being reminded that Elly isn't capable of enjoying anything and hates that other people have free will. This sort of thing is why I hope to see them leave her wasteful and damaged spirit behind them to consume itself.

Elly treating Liz like she's bad for saying "No!" makes me so angry. Raising a girl to always be "nice", when that means never standing up for herself and avoiding "no", endangers her.
