Well, this is a damned sight more palatable than what Lynn coughed up; perhaps she should simply break Elly's fingers so she can't do more damage.
And here we have in FOOBar a better relationship between Connie and Lawrence in one strip than in 30 years of For Better or For Worse. It's amazing what a difference a compassionate creator makes, isn't it? This Connie might even agree to attend Lawrence's wedding as the mother of the groom.

That could carry its own risks, though.

Imagine trying to explain compassion or, for that matter, empathy, to Lynn.
This Connie might even agree to attend Lawrence's wedding as the mother of the groom.
And Lawrence might even not feel compelled to make excuses not to marry.
LOL. Glad to hear Connie and Lawrence repeating what everyone else is saying about her makeover. Fortunately, it will grow out really, really quickly.
