I don't want to see him break his leg again either; nor do I want to see Connie console herself with the delusion that bringing him a new Daddy is better than being with him when he needs her. Too bad that Lynn wants it to happen; she has more votes.

That's the problem--she gets all the votes.

Don't worry, Lawrence. If you break your leg again, it will be a reprint. We are pretty numb to those and barely feel them. I know Lynn barely reads them.

Heh--true. If she did, she'd at least avoid tearing up her continuity.

Continuity: In the hands of a Herge, a Stan Sakai, or a Don Rosa, it can create cartooning masterpieces like "TinTin", "The Life and Times of Scrooge McDuck" and "Usagi Yojimbo".

In the hands of Lynn Johnston, continuity has become something only nit-picky people who should just shut up and enjoy the return of Farley the Dog keep bothering her with.

LOL--Seriously. You would think that her fabled 30 seconds were the amount of time she allowed herself to plan, pencil, and ink each strip.
