One moment, the foobs were in a teal-and-lavender monstrosity of a wedding, and the next they were propelled back into the past. But it was a different version of the past. What happened?
Well, we can forget about that idiot being any help, can't we? How very strange it is that the adults in your strip are either witless hindrances like John or active co-conspirators like Connie or Mira. The real source of Elly's power must come from them; if they could be held in check, she'd be a lot easier to stop.
"How very strange it is that the adults in your strip are either witless hindrances like John..."
Witless Hindrance? How about active abettor or co-conspirator. Maybe she promised him "some more" if he went back, and also has the magic to prevent "accidents."
(Of course, I still wonder if he's along and acting witless just in case. Wednesday should answer that...)

Well, no one said progress was going to be easy--just as it wouldn't be easy to convince someone in Corbeil that her hybrid is a bad idea. . . .
Not hybrid, new-runs. But you get the idea. ;)
No, you were right both times. The hybrid was a bad idea, too.
