Of course she doesn't see the broken leg as a problem; that would require her to take watching out for children seriously. She can't be bothered with something like that because it takes away from moaning about how hard her life is......which is the entire point of this, come to think of it. She clearly believes the fairly decent life she led is a catalog of woes and wants revenge at all costs. Even after she's defeated, I doubt she'll admit that the enemies she's making are right, she's just that vain and silly.
Fun! Elly goes from original printing with a girl mentioned to the collection leaving out the girl entirely to the new-run which actually shows the “’Allo?” girl.
Do Elly's powers not extend beyond Milborough's outer limits? Perhaps she hasn't any control over what's happening in Montreal -- or limited control at best. Unlike what's going on in Milborough, though, all she'll ever find out about the Montreal trip is what Connie chooses to divulge: true or otherwise.
Even after she's defeated, I doubt she'll admit that the enemies she's making are right, she's just that vain and silly.
Admitting she's wrong? She'd sooner play in traffic. ;)

Something I forgot to touch on the other day--Lynn's incorrect inclusion of an apostrophe, as if "allo" is really supposed to be "hallo." Just another detail emphasizing what she doesn't know.

Good point--and she might not be aware of the limits/coverage of her powers.
