One moment, the foobs were in a teal-and-lavender monstrosity of a wedding, and the next they were propelled back into the past. But it was a different version of the past. What happened?

Farley's perspective
I closely mimicked the bad drawing in the obedience-class strip....
The first panel thought balloon is the one that got me to laugh. Do I call him "John" or "Daddy"? I can imagine Lynn Johnston having a very similar problem with Rod, based on that Peterborough Examiner interview.
It's too bad that Farley can't actually talk; he'd be telling Elly off in a heartbeat.
Have you seen the movie Up? The dogs in that film have special collars that translate their speech into English. "My master is really, really smart! Can I play with that tennis ball? Oh! Squirrel! I hate squirrels!" It'd be fun to imagine Farley with a collar like that. :)

I was originally planning to have him riff on that a bit further in the next panel, something like "How can I learn these commands if I can't reconcile our relationship?" But then I decided I wanted something about the bizarre spectating.

"For this, I got pulled out of Doggie Heaven?"
Priceless.
Very funny! I love the artwork, too. I know you copied the original but it looks so much neater and more vibrant than the actual FOOB.

Good point! ;)
Priceless.
Thanks, Scritzy. Poor Farley, it's worse than what Buffy went through in season six. :)
